Arch & Hook
Empowering the Sole Use of Sustainable Materials. We are the sustainable materials engineers of the future, envisioning and bringing products to life through our engineered materials, creating a better tomorrow.
Plastic waste cleaned
Arch & Hook’s mission is to eliminate the use of non-sustainable materials within Fashion and Retail. Full stop.
Arch & Hook uses BLUEWAVE® - a globally certified sustainable plastic solution. It is certified, from source to final product, to the Global Recycling Standard (GRS version 4.0).
GRS is internationally recognised, voluntary and a full product standard. It doesn’t get much more thorough than this. You see, GRS guarantees the full chain of custody and operations, certification of recycled content, social and environmental practices and material composition.
BLUEWAVE® is certified by Control Union Certifications B.V, CU1057994.
BLUEWAVE® targets plastic pollution and CO2 emissions. The product can be used for many purposes and across sectors such as apparel, transportation and design - always providing a smart, long-lasting and durable alternative to single-use plastics.
The process eliminates the need for virgin plastics; instead, upcycling post-consumer plastics from four of the most polluted rivers in the world. It’s an innovation that ensures longevity, circularity and drives sustainable change not just for our clients, but for their industries as a whole.
BLUEWAVE® is a GRS® globally certified sustainable plastic solution.
Arch & Hook is certified to the Global Recycling Standard (GRS), version 4.0, which certifies our material from source to final product. It doesn’t get more thorough than this. Certification requires audit and guarantee of the entire value chain, as well as production process.
Arch & Hook’s wooden products are only crafted from sustainably sourced wood.
We are certified by The Forest Stewardship Council®, an independent, non-profit organisation which protects our forests for future generations.
FSC®-responsible wood-sourcing guarantees the protection of the ecosystem and ensures the replanting of new trees for continued growth of global forests.

Arch & Hook is committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals
Innovation and production excellence; it’s in our DNA. Our business model is built on innovating solutions to global problems - like the plastics crisis. Our partnerships are based on a shared vision of sustainable development. Our holding company, Archwey, drives growth in future-proof product manufacturing. Resilience throughout the COVID-19 crisis shows that the approach works and Archwey looks to further implement this formula for crisis-resistant operations and manufacturing in future markets, building inclusive and resilient industrialisation and further innovation.
The heart of our sustainability vision is ensuring a better future for all.
We know that the material engineering we enjoy can be expanded to any consumer goods or plastic production. We demonstrate that a true circular economy model of responsible manufacturing can be possible. We can help affect society on a large scale. For good. Because our long term vision is to ensure that urban environments and cities are able to use only sustainable materials, in a circular economy and a way of life free from single-use plastics.
We don’t partner with just anyone. Our partnerships are established and maintained on a foundation of honesty, fairness, and consistency in all practices.
All supply chain partners follow our Code of Conduct. They follow our expectations on social compliance, auditing and waste monitoring, not to mention labour rights.
That’s how our clients have our assurance on manufacturing & supply chain ESG frameworks from waste to final product.
Our BLUEWAVE® material innovation removes the need for virgin plastics. Instead, the process recycles post-consumer plastics, so they don’t end up as ocean microplastics and affect the oceanic carbon cycles.
BLUEWAVE® products last. And last, and last. They are multi-use and fully recyclable. Circularity such as this doesn’t just make for a lower carbon footprint, it provides a long-lasting and durable alternative to virgin petroleum-based single-use plastics.
The BLUEWAVE® programme aims to hold back the tsunami of post-consumer waste pollution that spills into our oceans. By collecting waste from the four most polluting rivers in the world, the key sources of global plastic ocean pollution, we’re not just helping life below water. We’re bringing about the end of single-use plastic and the amount of it that ends up in our rivers and oceans.
We’re committed to cutting deforestation, not trees. That why we’ll only use FSC® 100% certified wood across their organic product ranges. That means wood which is sustainably sourced, in ways that don’t damage forests and natural habitats. In responsibly managed forests there are no tree-less patches.
Our use of post-consumer waste for BLUEWAVE® also helps to prevent harmful plastics entering landfills or rivers - which helps protect the balance of biodiversity on land.
