Our mission
Archwey is the holding company for leading material innovation brands Arch&Hook, Shieldler and PlasticBean. Together, we’re reshaping the world’s building blocks.
Our innovations center around engineering sustainable materials. Like 100% recycled and recyclable plastics made from marine plastics, ocean-bound plastics, post-consumer waste and on some occasions post-industrial waste, depending on the end-use application.
Archwey is the driving force of the push to eliminate fossil fuel-based virgin plastics in retail, fashion, hospitality, healthcare, pharma, consumer goods and global manufacturing.
Our commitment
65K
Archwey has committed to double, by the end of 2023, the amount of plastic that is cleaned up and recycled - to 65,000 tonnes.
This is almost the equivalent of preventing another Great Pacific Garbage Patch from entering our oceans.

The heart of our sustainability vision is ensuring a better future for all.
We know that the material engineering Archwey offers can be expanded to any consumer goods or plastic production. We can help establish a true circular economy model of responsible manufacturing. We can help affect society on a large scale. For good. Because our long term vision is to ensure that urban environments and cities are able to use only sustainable materials, in a circular economy and a way of life free from single-use plastics.

Our BLUEWAVE® material innovation removes the need for virgin plastics. Instead, the process recycles post-consumer plastics, so they don’t end up as ocean microplastics and affect the oceanic carbon cycles.
BLUEWAVE® products last. And last, and last. They are multi-use and fully recyclable. Circularity such as this doesn’t just make for a lower carbon footprint, it provides a long-lasting and durable alternative to virgin petroleum-based single-use plastics.

The BLUEWAVE® programme aims to hold back the tsunami of post-consumer waste pollution that spills into our oceans. By collecting waste from the four most polluting rivers in the world, the key sources of global plastic ocean pollution, we’re not just helping life below water. We’re bringing about the end of single-use plastic and the amount of it that ends up in our rivers and oceans.

We’re committed to cutting deforestation, not trees. That why our brands, like Arch & Hook, only use FSC® 100% certified wood across their organic product ranges. That means wood which is sustainably sourced, in ways that don’t damage forests and natural habitats. In responsibly managed forests there are no tree-less patches.
Our use of post-consumer waste for BLUEWAVE® also helps to prevent harmful plastics entering landfills or rivers - which helps protect the balance of biodiversity on land.

Our Belief
The Global Shift
to a Circular Economy
Archwey believes in three core partnership pillars towards creating a global circular economy.
- 01
Entrepreneurship
We’ve disrupted polluting industries like fashion & retail, by pushing for material innovation. We won’t take ‘no’ for an answer and will keep pushing boundaries to achieve a future free from virgin plastics. We’ll work with any company, manufacturer or change-maker who shares our ethos, aims and standards.
- 02
Cross-sector Collaboration
We know that private and public sectors must become aligned. So we unify our partners behind the strategy and objectives we set out to achieve. No alignment. No success. We demand transparency on pressure points like artificially decreased pricing for things like plastic, and taxation on non-sustainable packaging. To see big change, small changes are needed throughout the entire product value chain.
- 03
Green Impact Investment
If businesses want sustainable development and growth, a shift towards circular innovation is a must. The global economy will be transformed by the transition to carbon neutrality. We aren’t just convinced of the opportunities for returns - we’re sure of the positive effects of achieving these targets. That’s why we urge investment in this field.
